TERMS & CONDITIONS

The Buckle Guest Loyalty program (“Guest Loyalty”) is sponsored by The Buckle, Inc. (“Buckle”). Guest Loyalty is a free, points-based loyalty program. No purchase is required to join. Guests earn rewards, valid for dollars off any purchase of Buckle merchandise, based on points accumulated from qualifying Buckle purchases and other incentives.

BENEFITS OF MEMBERSHIP

  • Earn 1 point for every $1 spent on qualifying purchases
  • For every 300 points earned, receive a $10 Reward on a future purchase
  • Member-only promotions and events

ELIGIBILITY

Buckle’s Guest Loyalty is limited to individuals only and one account per individual. Guest Loyalty is open to individuals who (i) are at least 13 years of age, (ii) are U.S. residents making a purchase within the U.S., (iii) provide and maintain a valid phone number and email address, and (iv) accept these Terms and Conditions. Guests between 13 year of age and the age of majority (18 or 19 years old, depending on state law) must obtain a parent’s or legal guardian’s consent to enroll in Guest Loyalty; acceptance of these Terms and Conditions affirms that a parent or legal guardian has provided such consent. Points may not be earned or redeemed on Buckle Teammates’ discounted purchases. Membership eligibility is subject to applicable law.

ENROLLMENT

Guests may enroll in Guest Loyalty at any participating Buckle store location or by calling Guest Services at 800.607.9788. To enroll in Guest Loyalty, Guests must provide their first name, last name, email address, and phone number. Upon enrolling, the Guest will receive an email to confirm the email address provided and to allow the Guest to accept these Terms and Conditions. Upon acceptance of these Terms and Conditions, the Guest becomes a “Member” of Guest Loyalty.

EARNING POINTS

Members earn 1 point for every $1 spent on a qualifying purchase(s). Qualifying purchases are defined as the purchase amount of each product in any in-store or online transaction, excluding sales tax, shipping charges, delivery charges, discounts, redemption of Guest Loyalty, and fees or other excluded charges. Points issued are rounded to the nearest 1 point increment. For example, a qualifying item that sells for $10.49 earns 10 points, whereas a qualifying item that sells for $10.50 earns 11 points. Each qualifying item purchased in a transaction is used to calculate points, rather than the total transaction amount.

Points are awarded upon redemption of Buckle Gift Cards, but not on the purchase of such gift cards. Points for layaway sales are awarded upon final payment for the respective layaway transaction.

Points will be credited only to the account of the Guest Loyalty Member who makes the qualifying purchase. Points are only awarded on transactions where a Guest Loyalty account is identified at the time of purchase.

Points cannot be accumulated on purchases made prior to enrolling in Guest Loyalty. All points must be earned and redeemed as rewards according to these Terms and Conditions.

POINT REDEMPTION & REWARDS

For every 300 points earned, Members are eligible to receive a $10 reward, redeemable as a discount off the future purchase of any qualifying Buckle merchandise (each, a “Reward”). Rewards are available for use in-store. Rewards may not be redeemed in the same transaction in which they are earned. All Rewards will be calculated and issued by Buckle. Points will automatically be subtracted from the Member’s point balance upon redemption of a Reward. Any remaining balance of accrued points will be reflected in the Member’s point balance.

Multiple Rewards may be redeemed for qualifying purchases in a single transaction. However, all Rewards must be redeemed in increments of $10. If the amount of the qualifying purchase is less than the total Reward redeemed, the corresponding number of points will be returned to the Member’s balance for future use. By way of example, if a Member has 450 points and makes a qualifying purchase of $12, the Member may redeem 300 points for a Reward, which will be issued as a $10 discount against the purchase price. If the Member has 600 points and makes a qualifying purchase of $12, the Member may redeem 600 points for a $20 Reward. Buckle will apply $12 of the Reward to offset the qualifying purchase and return 240 points to the Member’s point balance.

To redeem Rewards in-store, Members must provide some sort of unique identifier (e.g. name, telephone number, or email address) at the time of purchase so that Buckle Teammates can verify their account balance. If there are enough points in the Member’s account to be eligible for a Reward, the Teammate will apply the appropriate number of Rewards at the point of sale at Member’s direction.

Rewards are combinable and can be used in conjunction with any other Buckle promotional or sale price offer, discount or coupon, not to exceed the qualifying merchandise total. Rewards will be applied as a prorated discount across the qualifying items purchased in a single transaction

Rewards may be redeemed for layaway purchases at the time of initial purchase only. The proportional number of points redeemed as a Reward that is applied to the initial payment of a layaway will be credited back to the Member’s account if the layaway is canceled.

Rewards may not be redeemed for certain charges, including but not limited to the following:

  • Payment on Buckle Credit Card
  • Purchase of Buckle Gift Cards
  • Payment on layaways (except for the initial deposit)
  • Insufficient funds charges
  • Alteration fees
  • Shipping charges
  • Watch repairs
  • Gift Wrapping
  • Paper gift certificates

POINT EXPIRATIONS

Points issued are valid for 56 weeks from the date of the qualifying purchase. Expired points are forfeited. An account in which all points have expired may be closed at Buckle's discretion.

RETURNS

Points earned on purchased items that are later returned will be deducted from a Member’s account. For purchases returned in which the original purchaser cannot be identified, points will be deducted from the Rewards account of the Member who is returning the item.

Should returns create a negative balance in a Member’s account, future points earned and posted to the account will be applied to the negative balance. In the event that a Member returns merchandise that was partially or wholly paid for with a Reward(s), the number of points attributed to the Reward redeemed for such merchandise will be added back to the Member’s account.

TRANSFERABILITY & CASH VALUE

Points and Rewards are not transferrable or combinable with other Members’ accounts unless specifically authorized by Buckle. Points and Rewards may not be combined among Members or conveyed by any means to anyone. Accrued points and/or Rewards do not constitute property of the Member. Rewards may only be used by the Member who earned them. Points and/or Rewards are void if sold, purchased, bartered, or exchanged for cash or other consideration, or if received or used in violation of these Terms and Conditions.

Points and Rewards have no cash value, may not be purchased, and are not redeemable for cash under any circumstances. No change/currency will be given for any unused portion of a Reward.

PROMOTIONS

Buckle reserves the right to make reward points and other promotional offers available to select Members based on purchase activity, geographic location, certain time periods, product categories, program participation, and/or information supplied by the Member. Buckle reserves the right to add, withdraw, amend, or otherwise change reward opportunities at any time at its sole discretion.

From time to time, Members may be eligible for sweepstakes, contests, or other similar promotions. Participation in such events shall be subject to the terms, conditions, and rules published at the time of such event and applicable laws.

GUEST LOYALTY TERMINATION

Members may cancel their Guest Loyalty membership at any time by contacting Guest Services at 1-800-607-9788. Cancellation may take 10 business days to finalize. Upon cancellation, membership will be deactivated and any accumulated points balance or available Rewards will be forfeited.

Buckle, in its sole discretion, has the right to terminate a Member’s membership at any time and for any reason without notice, including violating these Terms and Conditions or any conduct detrimental to Buckle or otherwise not within the spirit of Guest Loyalty. In the event of a Member’s membership being terminated, the Member forfeits any balance of accumulated points, available Rewards, or any other account value.

COMMUNICATION

Guests can view account status, obtain information about Guest Loyalty and their account activity, and change their contact information at any time on buckleguestloyalty.com. Account and Guest Loyalty program information may also be obtained by contacting Guest Services via email at guest.services@buckle.com or by phone at 1-800-607-9788.

Communications about Guest Loyalty, including any changes, point summaries, special promotional materials, and Reward notifications will be sent to the email address provided by the Member. Buckle assumes no responsibility for, and is not liable for, any unauthorized access by third parties to a Member’s account and/or account information.

By enrolling in the Guest Loyalty program, Members agree to receive transactional emails and other communication and updates from Buckle.

Members are responsible for maintaining accurate and updated personal information regarding their account. Buckle will not be responsible for a failure of any Member to redeem a Reward.

MEMBER PRIVACY

The information Guests provide will be handled according to Buckle’s Privacy Policy. If a Guest is interested in learning more about Buckle’s privacy practices, please refer to the Privacy Policy at www.buckle.com/guest-services/privacy-security/privacy-security.

RIGHT TO AMEND

Buckle reserves the right to amend, modify, or discontinue Guest Loyalty and these Terms and Conditions at any time and in any way in its sole discretion. If Buckle amends or modifies Guest Loyalty, notice of such amendment or modification will be provided on buckle.com and may also include an email to Members. Buckle may terminate Guest Loyalty at any time, which may result in the loss of accumulated points and Rewards and cancellation of all benefits and privileges associated with Guest Loyalty. Guest Loyalty is void where prohibited by law.

MISCELLANEOUS

Purchases and point accrual, as reflected in Buckle’s records, shall be deemed correct. Buckle reserves the right to determine the amount of Rewards to be awarded to a Member based on Buckle's internal records related to a Member’s account. Buckle’s internal records will control in the event of an inconsistency between the points accrued in a Member’s account as stated on any Member’s receipt or online and Buckle's internal records. Buckle reserves the right to make corrections at any time, in its sole discretion, in the calculation of the award of points or Rewards.

Points and other benefits of Guest Loyalty may be taxable where required by applicable law. Guest Loyalty rules are void to the extent prohibited by applicable law.

Buckle’s logo and any other logos and taglines are the sole intellectual property of Buckle Brands, Inc.

Buckle will not be liable for any claims, actions, injury, loss or damage of any kind resulting from Guest Loyalty. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO NEGLIGENCE, WILL BUCKLE, OR ANY OF ITS SUBSIDIARIES, AFFILIATES, DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, OR EMPLOYEES (COLLECTIVELY, THE “BUCKLE PARTIES”) BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES THAT RESULT FROM GUEST LOYALTY, EVEN IF THE BUCKLE PARTIES HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. BY PARTICIPATING IN GUEST LOYALTY, YOU RELEASE THE BUCKLE PARTIES AND ITS SERVICE PROVIDERS FROM AND AGAINST ANY AND ALL CLAIMS, DAMAGES, LOSSES, LIABILITIES, AND OTHER EXPENSES (INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITAITION, ATTORNEYS’ FEES) RELATING TO YOUR GUEST LOYALTY MEMBERSHIP, USE OF REWARDS, AND YOUR AGREEMENT TO THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS.

In consideration for participating in Guest Loyalty, Members agree (i) to waive the right to trial by jury and the ability to participate in a class action, and (ii) that any dispute with Buckle regarding Guest Loyalty will be resolved through negotiation with Buckle. If agreement cannot be reached through negotiation, resolution will be sought on an individual basis only through binding arbitration in the State of Nebraska and that the laws of Nebraska will govern the substantive resolution of the matter. No arbitration under these Terms and Conditions will be combined with any other arbitration. If for any reason a claim proceeds outside of binding arbitration, the laws of Nebraska will govern, and the claim will be instituted only in the federal and state courts located in Nebraska.

These Terms and Conditions represent the entire agreement between you and Buckle pertaining to your Guest Loyalty membership. No waiver of any of the provisions of these Terms and Conditions will be deemed or will constitute a waiver of any other provisions hereof, nor will waiver constitute a continuing waiver unless otherwise expressly provided. If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, such provision will be severed from the remainder of these Terms and Conditions, which will otherwise remain in full force and effect.
